The IU Maurer School of Law Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) is devoted to promoting legal careers in public service and ensuring that Indiana Law students feel supported and encouraged in their public interest endeavors. Most summer legal internships in public interest work are unpaid. The goal of Singing for Summer Salaries is to raise money to offer summer scholarships to students who work in unpaid public interest internships and show the Law School's commitment to public interest law.

Singing for Summer Salaries will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 12-1pm in the IU Maurer School of Law Moot Court Room and all are invited! Dean Anne McFadden, Professor Jody Madeira, Professor Joseph Tomain, Dean Ryan Scott, and last but not least, Professor Luis Fuentes-Rohwer are all in the running to sing a rendition of their favorite song at the end of the event. YOU get to decide who is the lucky winner by donating under their team name! The individual with the most funds raised by the end of the Singing for Summer Salaries event will get the honor of belting out their song to the whole law school. We've heard rumors that the Grateful Dead and Justin Bieber's "Despacito" are in the running. All funds donated will go directly to supporting law students in unpaid public interest positions this summer.

Thank you for your support of public interest law and PILF! If you have any questions or want to get more involved please, contact [email protected]
