From the shadows of the tragic news our team received regarding the loss of our Assistant Coach's 19 year old son, the Bobcats were forever united with the Yale Bulldogs to whom with the same news, their starting shortstop lost her only brother.

Every year, it is our hope at our in-season encounter, to celebrate the life of Chris Labbadia and acknowledge the LOVE, LOYALTY and LAUGHTER he brought to so many.

We will continue to raise funds indefinately for the Christopher Labbadia Memorial Fund.

On January 16, 2016, the world lost one of its brightest smiles when Chris Labbadia passed away unexpectedly at the age of 19. Chris's family and friends gathered to honor the life of this young man in a touching farewell.

Donations will be accepted indefinitely as we wish to share and celebrate Chris' life for years to come. Each giving level is not only a tribute to the many themes of his story, but a direct reflection of how Chris chose to live his life - refusing to be defined by others, being true to himself and committed to writing his own story.

Annually, the Labbadia family will announce a monetary scholarship in Chris' name.
